Christopher Morris is a lecturer at the Catholic Theological College and a member of the Department of Pastoral and General Studies. He has been involved in Education since 1995 in Catholic schools and at the Catholic Education Office Melbourne, including leadership in Religious Education. He is a spiritual director, oblate of the Camaldolese Benedictines and a member of the Australian Teachers of Meditation Association (ATMA).

Chris was a lecturer at the Australian Catholic University in the Certificate in Guiding in Meditation.

Chris holds the degrees of Bachelor of Business and Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of South Australia, Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction, and a Master of Arts from the Melbourne College of Divinity (now University of Divinity).

Chris is currently completing a PhD focusing on Christian wisdom and its renewal in our time. His interests also include the on-going development of meditative practices, and Catholic Identity with an emphasis on spirituality.

His recent publications are: Meditation in Religious Education: Nurturing Opportunities for Unitive Knowledge in Religious Education Journal of Australia (2009).
