Rev. Dr Michael Trainor AM is a lecturer at Catholic Theological College and is a member of the Department of Biblical Studies. He lectures on the The Book of Revelation at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

He holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Literature and Languages from the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, USA, a Masters of Education from Boston College in Boston, USA, and a doctorate in Theology from the Melbourne College of Divinity. 
 
He is a Senior Lecturer in Biblical Studies at the Australian Catholic University, Adelaide and Adjunct lecturer, Department of Theology, Flinders University, South Australia. Michael is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature, the Australian Catholic Biblical Association, Australian College of Educators, an Executive Board member of the International Council of Christians and Jews; co-chair of the South Australian Council of Christians and Jews; co-chair of the South Australian Uniting Church and Roman Catholic Dialogue, He is also a priest assisting in the parish of Lockleys, South Australia.
 
His current academic and research interests include: The interface of culture, archaeology, sociology, and New Testament; biblical hermeneutics; models of learning and leadership from the earliest households of Jesus followers.
