Rev. Dr Paul Connell is a lecturer at Catholic Theological College and is a member of the Department of Systematic Theology. He lectures in the areas of Christology, Eschatology, Creation Theology, and the Theology of God.  He is a priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, and the parish priest of St Oliver's, Pascoe Vale.

Paul Connell holds a Master of Arts from the University of Oxford, and a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, where he examined the theological methodology of John Macquarrie.

He has taught various units in systematic theology at Monash University and Australian Catholic University, and has conducted in-service courses for Catholic clergy in Melbourne, Hobart and Sale. He is the immediate past Deputy Master of Catholic Theological College.

His current academic interests including areas of research are: Doctrine of God, Eschatology, and Christology.
