Dr Paul Taylor is a lecturer at Catholic Theological College and is a member of the Department of Pastoral and General Studies. He lectures in Liturgical Music. He is also the Director of Music at St Patrick's Cathedral and Executive Secretary of the Bishops Commission for Liturgy of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference.

Paul Taylor holds the degrees of Master of Arts in Liturgy from Notre Dame, USA, Master of Music from Australian Catholic University, Doctor of Philosophy from Australian Catholic University.

Paul has taught a unit on Liturgical Environment and Music at YTU (2001).

A former Editor of The Summit (2002-2013), he has published articles on liturgy and liturgical music in Liturgy News, the Australian Journal of Liturgy, the Australasian Catholic Record and was a member of the editorial board of Catholic Worship Book II (Melbourne: Morning Star Publishing, 2016).
