Rev. Dr Brian Boyle is the Academic Dean of Catholic Theological College and lectures in Biblical Studies (Old Testament).

The undergraduate units he teaches include:
BS101 Introduction to the Old Testament
BS205/305 The Pentateuch
BS216/316 The Prophetic Literature
BS312 The Prophecy of Jeremiah

The postgraduate units he teaches include:

Brian Boyle holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University (Canberra), a Bachelor of Theology from the Melbourne College of Divinity, a Diploma of Tertiary Education from the University of New England, and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome). He gained a Doctorate of Sacred Theology at the Gregorian with research on synchronic and diachronic readings of narrative in the Book of Jeremiah. Before coming to CTC he was Dean of the College of Theology in the University of Notre Dame Australia (Fremantle) and Lecturer in Scripture (Old Testament). He is a member of the Australian Catholic Biblical Association.
His main academic interests are biblical inspiration and prophetic literature.
