Dr Cal Ledsham is a member of the Department of Philosophy. He lectures in Latin, Epistemology, Modern Philosophy, Natural Law, and Medieval Philosophy.

Cal Ledsham holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia, a Master of Arts from Monash University, a Master of Philosophy and a Doctor of Philosophy from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from Australian Catholic University.
His publications include: "Duns Scotus" in Substantia - Siz et non: Eine Geschichedes Substanzbegriffs von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart in Einzebeitragen (2008); and "Johannes Duns Scotus" in Recherches de Theologie et Philosophie Medievales (2008).
He is a sessional lecturer in Ethics at Australian Catholic University and has also been a sessional lecturer in the United Faculty of Theology (Parkville).
His current research interests are medieval philosophy (John Duns Scotus), early modern philosophy (Hume), the problem of philosophical proofs/treatments of the necessity of revelation, contemporary ethics and political philosophy.
