Rev. Dr Mark Edwards is a member of the Philosophy Department and lectures in Logic, Metaphysics, and Modern Philosophy. He is a priest of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (omi).

The undergraduate units he teaches include:
He holds a Bachelor of Theology from the Melbourne College of Divinity, a Bachelor of Science, a Diploma of Education, and a Bachelor of Literature (Honours) and Doctorate of Philosophy from Monash University.
He is the Rector of St Mary’s Seminary, Mulgrave. He has tutored in philosophy at Monash University, and has been a secondary school teacher at Mazenod College (Victoria), and Iona College (Queensland), principally in religion, the nature of time, mathematics, and science.
His main academic interest is metaphysics, especially presentism and the challenges it faces.
