Department of Systematic Theology
Rev. Steven Rigo is a member of the Department of Systematic Theology. He lectures in Ecclesiology. He is a priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, and the Parish Priest of St. Mary’s, Greensborough.
The undergraduate units he teaches include:
- CD102 Ecclesiology and Ecumenism [ecclesiology]
He also supervises and examines students in the unit:
Steven Rigo holds a Bachelor of Theology from the Melbourne College of Divinity, and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome).
He was a member of the School of Theology (Victoria) at St Patrick’s Campus, Fitzroy, of Australian Catholic University, and Campus Chaplain at the same institution. He has also been Tutor in Systematic Theology to seminarians at Corpus Christi College, the regional seminary for the dioceses of Victoria and Tasmania. He also teaches systematic theology courses for the Archbishop's Office for Evangelisation of the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
His main academic interests are Ecclesiology, Sacraments, Christology, and Eschatology.
