Head, Department of Pastoral and General Studies
Rev. William (Bill) Attard is Head of the Department of Pastoral and General Studies, and lectures in Pastoral Studies. He is a priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, and the parish priest of St Theresa's, Essendon.
The undergraduate units he teaches include:

Pastoral Care and Spiritual Leadership
He also coordinates the units:
Bill Attard has a Bachelor of Theology from the Melbourne College of Divinity, and a Bachelor of Education from Latrobe University. He pursued further studies in psychology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, where he completed a Licentiate in Psychology.
He is also a counselling psychologist in private practice, a spiritual director and supervisor, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. He presents regularly at institutes of spirituality, clergy conferences and houses of formation.
His main academic interest is the integration of spirituality and the social sciences.
