Doctor of Philosophy

The PhD is a research degree that enables interaction with the discipline of theology by building on studies undertaken in a previous degree, usually in other disciplines.

Entry Requirements:

Master’s degree that includes a thesis;
or Bachelor of Theology with Honours (H1);
or Master of Theological Studies that includes
a 12,000 word essay of high distinction standard;
or equivalent professional or academic attainment

Structure:

thesis of 100,000 words

Normal Duration:

3 – 6 years
