Rev. Msgr Anthony (Tony) Ireland EV is a member of the Department of Moral Theology and Canon Law and lectures in Moral Theology. He is a priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, and the parish priest of St Gregory's, Doncaster.
 
He holds the degrees of Bachelor of Theology from the University of Divinity, Master of Arts in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical University of St Thomas (Rome), Licentiate in Sacred Theology (Moral Theology) from the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome), and Doctor of Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St Thomas (Rome).

He is the Episcopal Vicar for Health and Aged Care in the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne. He is also the Episcopal Vicar for the Eastern Region of the Archdiocese. He is a Director of Catholic Capital Grants (Victoria) Ltd. Archbishop Hart has twice appointed him as a board member of the Catholic Development Fund for the Melbourne Archdiocese.
