Most Rev. Dr Terence (Terry) Curtin DD held the position of Master at Catholic Theological College from 2003-2010, and was President of the University of Divinity). He was Head of the department of Systematic Theology from 2011-2014, and lectures in Sacramental Theology. He is an auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Melbourne, responsible for the Northern Region of the Archdiocese.
He examines students for the unit:
Terry Curtin has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Melbourne, a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Urban University (Rome), and a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome).
He was President of the Forum of Australian Catholic Institutes of Theology (2003-2005). Before coming to CTC he was Head of the School of Theology (Victoria) within Australian Catholic University (1992-2002), where he taught units in fundamental theology, christology, ecclesiology and sacramental theology at undergraduate and postgraduate level.  He has also taught postgraduate units in sacramental theology and theological hermeneutics at Caritas Francis Hsu College, Hong Kong.  He was a Critical Colleague in the development of the core religious education documents for the dioceses of Ballarat, Sale, and Sandhurst, and the archdiocese of Hobart. He is a magistral chaplain within the Order of Malta and was ordained an ausilliary bishop for the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne in December 2014.

His main academic interests are Theological Hermeneutics and Sacramental Theology.
